08:27 AM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Metals ( OMZNF ) on Tuesday said exploration drilling at its Gaspe Copper project in Quebec showed widespread mineralization.
The company said the best results from assays on ten holes on the property included 853.5 meters of core testing at 0.2% copper and 645.0 meters with a 0.28% copper content.
Osisko said the drilling program was designed to convert resources counted in the indicated category in a 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) to the measured category.
"These new results underscore the overall large-scale potential of mineralization at Gaspe Copper, with drill hole 1082 cutting 853 metres of continuous mineralization, including the bottom 424 metres being located immediately below and outside the 2024 MRE model," Chief Executive Robert Wares said in a release.
The company's shares closed down $0.02 to $0.44 Monday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
