Otis Worldwide Q2 Earnings Rise, Net Sales Fall; Updates 2024 Outlook

06:50 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Otis Worldwide ( OTIS ) reported Q2 adjusted non-GAAP earnings Wednesday of $1.06, up from $0.92 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.03.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 was $3.60 billion, down from $3.72 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.73 billion.

Otis Worldwide ( OTIS ) said it now expects 2024 adjusted EPS of $3.85 to $3.90. That compares with $3.83 to $3.90 previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.87.

Net sales for the current year are now projected to be in the range of $14.30 billion to $14.50 billion, the company said. That compares with $14.50 billion to $14.70 billion previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $14.62 billion.
