Otter Tail Power Seeks Rate Increase in South Dakota

02:46 PM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Otter Tail Power, a unit of Otter Tail (OTTR), said Wednesday it is seeking permission from the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission to increase its electric rates due to rising costs.

The net effect would be an increase to rates of about $5.7 million, the utility said, adding that the average net increase to customers would be about 12.5%.
