08:21 AM EDT, 06/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ouster (OUST) has launched a new version of its BlueCity traffic management platform using its Rev8 digital lidar sensor, the company said Wednesday.

The upgraded system adds native color lidar capabilities and combines color and 3D depth information to improve traffic monitoring, analytics and event detection, Ouster said.

Rev8 provides up to double the range and resolution of the previous generation, enabling long-range traffic detection, while potentially reducing the number of sensors needed for deployments.

Shares of the company were 4% lower in Wednesday premarket trading.
