Graphite electrode manufacturer, HEG Ltd said that the overseas markets have now started to pick up.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Manish Gulati, Executive Director of the company said, “In the rest of the world, excluding China, the overall capacity utilization has gone up from the level of 55-60 percent to 72-75 percent. So this bodes well for us, the electrode demand is coming back.”
On the business expansion, he said that the company had put the plan on hold when COVID was at its peak in May 2020, but now they restarted it and expect it to get completed between 18 months to two years.
