05:19 PM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ovintiv ( OVV ) said after trade Monday that Terri G King will join its board of directors as an independent member, effective Jan. 31, 2025.

The company said King retired from ConocoPhillips ( COP ) in 2023, where he held various leadership roles including chief commercial officer and vice president.

The company added that its board refreshment process continues with King's appointment as the third new independent director in the past three years.
