Owens & Minor to Divest Medical Supply Distribution Platform to Platinum Equity

05:32 PM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Owens & Minor ( OMI ) will sell its Products & Healthcare Services division to Platinum Equity, the investment firm said late Tuesday.

Owens & Minor ( OMI ) will retain a 5% interest in the business.

The transaction is expected to close by year-end, according to the statement.

Owens & Minor ( OMI ) shares rose nearly 14% in after-hours trading.
