Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.18.
Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 2 was $403.1 million, down from $419.9 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $406.1 million.
The company expects Q3 adjusted loss per share of $1.05 to $0.85 on revenue of $295 million to $310 million. Analysts expect a loss of $0.69 on revenue of $308.8 million.
The company reaffirmed its full-year fiscal 2025 adjusted EPS outlook of $2.80 to $3.20 on revenue of $1.48 billion to $1.52 billion. Analysts expect EPS of $2.85 on revenue of $1.50 billion.
The company maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.69 per share, payable Oct. 31 to stockholders of record Oct. 17.
Shares rose 13% during after-hours trading.
