PACCAR's Q3 Net Income, Revenue Fall; Shares Decline Pre-Bell

08:23 AM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PACCAR ( PCAR ) reported Q3 net income Tuesday of $1.85 per diluted share, down from $2.34 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.82.

Net sales and revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $8.24 billion, down from $8.70 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $7.59 billion.

The company's shares were down 2.4% in recent premarket activity.
