Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.82.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $2.31 billion, up from $2.18 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.30 billion.

Shares were over 5% lower during after-hours activity.
