12:44 PM EDT, 10/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Palantir Technologies ( PLTR ) has filed a lawsuit against two former senior engineers for allegedly using "deception and stolen documents and information" to form a rival "copycat" business, according to a court document filed Thursday.
The complaint alleges that Radha Jain and Joanna Cohen "exploited their prior access to Palantir's ( PLTR ) confidential information, proprietary methodologies, and customer relationships" to benefit themselves and their new company, Percepta, which is backed by venture capital firm General Catalyst.
Palantir ( PLTR ) learned of the two employees' new roles after Percepta was publicly launched, "professing to have developed in eleven months the same product and business that took Palantir ( PLTR ) decades to develop," while Jain, Percepta co-founder, was party to a non-competition agreement with Palantir ( PLTR ), according to the lawsuit.
Subsequent forensic investigation by Palantir ( PLTR ) uncovered the theft of confidential documents and information, the lawsuit added.
Palantir ( PLTR ), Percepta, and General Catalyst didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
