Palantir Technologies Wins Up to $448 Million US Navy Shipbuilding Deal
Mar 10, 2026 10:02 PM

07:49 AM EST, 12/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Palantir Technologies ( PLTR ) said Wednesday it will partner with the US Navy on a ShipOS program using its Foundry and AI Platform across the maritime industrial base under a deal worth up to $448 million.

ShipOS will first be deployed at two major shipbuilders, three public shipyards, and about 100 suppliers to pool production data, identify bottlenecks, and support quicker, data-driven decisions, the company said.

Pilot projects cut submarine schedule planning at General Dynamics Electric Boat from 160 hours to under 10 minutes and reduced material review times at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard to under an hour, Palantir ( PLTR ) said.

The initial investment will focus on the Submarine Industrial Base before expanding to other ship programs, with the Navy aiming for long-term cost savings from better schedules and higher efficiency, it said.

Shares of the company were up over 1.1% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
