09:38 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) said Wednesday it is partnering with International Business Machines ( IBM ) on a service aimed at assessing and addressing risks associated with older cryptographic systems.

Financial terms were not provided.

The company said the service, expected to launch in early 2026, will combine IBM's ( IBM ) consulting capabilities with its own network-level cryptographic data to identify where customers rely on vulnerable encryption and to guide them through upgrades.

Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) said the service will include tools to map cryptographic assets, evaluate exposure and support long-term migration efforts, along with a feature that can automatically shift certain traffic to quantum-safe methods.
