PANAMA CITY, July 19 (Reuters) - Panama's Copa Airlines
said on Friday that its operating systems were experiencing
difficulties due to a global cyber outage.
The airline's website showed a message stating it was
experiencing technical problems in the reservation system, with
efforts underway to fix it as soon as possible.
Passengers were advised to arrive at least four hours prior
to their flight departure due to extended check-in times, Copa
said on social media.
A software update wreaked havoc on computer systems globally
on Friday, grounding flights, forcing some broadcasters off air
and hitting services from banking to healthcare.
