The company also announced a $1.5 million non-brokered private placement of up to 6-million units at $0.25 each.

Each unit consists of a share and a two-year warrant to buy a share at $0.40.

Proceeds will be used for exploration and property acquisitions.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.03 to $0.33 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
