12:04 PM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount, a unit of Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) , said Tuesday it has signed a film deal with Microsoft ( MSFT )-owned (MSFT) video game maker Activision to work on a movie based on the popular video game franchise "Call of Duty."

Under the partnership, Paramount will develop, produce, and distribute a live-action feature film based on "Call of Duty," as it aims to broaden the audience of the video game series, the company said.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares of Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) were down about 2% in recent Tuesday trading.
