04:38 PM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) has agreed to freeze its merger with Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) until June 2027 at the latest as a lawsuit seeking to block the $111 billion deal works its way through court, multiple media outlets reported Friday, citing a legal filing.

Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) and an array of state attorneys general reached an agreement to delay the deal while a judge reviews the lawsuit, extending a shorter pause imposed by a federal judge in California this week.

Paramount and Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of Paramount and Warner Bros. rose around 1.2% and 0.5%, respectively, in after-hours trading.
