09:48 AM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount (PARA) said Tuesday its streaming service Paramount+ will launch its premium subscription plan in Europe, starting with France later this month, and its basic ad-supported subscription plan in Canada and Australia in April and June, respectively.

The company said the premium plan will be priced at 10.99 euros ($11.93) per month, or 97.99 euros per year in France, while the basic plan will be priced at 6.99 Canadian dollars ($5.14) per month in Canada, and 6.99 Australian dollars ($4.56) per month in Australia.

The company said the premium plan will also be rolled out in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy later this year.
