05:59 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount Global ( PARAA ) and US President Donald Trump are conducting "good faith, advanced, settlement negotiations" to settle a lawsuit filed by Trump against Paramount unit CBS over allegations that the network edited a "60 Minutes" interview with then-vice president Kamala Harris to tip the scales in her favor, news outlets reported Monday, citing court documents.

Lawyers in a court filing requested that a Texas judge delay proceedings until Thursday, Reuters reported. The network has said the suit is "completely without merit" and requested a dismissal, according to the report.

Paramount and the White House did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
