08:55 AM EDT, 08/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ParaZero Technologies ( PRZO ) said Monday it received the first order in a wider partnership with an unnamed tier 1 defense OEM company for drone safety systems used in military operations and medical missions.

The order for 50 drones is part of an initial testing phase, during which ParaZero ( PRZO ) will develop the necessary adaptations for a medical delivery system, the company said.

The client plans to purchase hundreds of additional systems for a pilot program if the testing phase is successful, ParaZero ( PRZO ) said. Testing is expected to be complete by the end of the year, after which the adapted systems will enter commercial production to be made available to other customers, according to the company.

Financial details of the transaction were not shared.
