08:22 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Parker-Hannifin ( PH ) is being sued by Davidson Instruments over allegations that the company filed fraudulent patents and misappropriated trade secrets related to advanced fiber optic pressure sensing technology, Davidson Instruments said Tuesday.
Davidson Instruments claimed that Partker filed a fraudulent patent application last year to seize control of fuel-efficient innovations it developed for use in jet engines and industrial combustion turbine engines.
The company further claimed that Parker unlawfully exploited the technology after failing to develop a similar system through its efforts dating back to 2013.
The lawsuit is seeking at least $900 million in damages and injunctive relief to block Parker from using the disputed technology.
Parker-Hannifin ( PH ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
