08:22 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Parker-Hannifin ( PH ) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Thursday of $6.51 per diluted share, up from $5.93 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $6.11.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $5.07 billion, compared with $5.06 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $5.07 billion.

The company said it now expects fiscal 2024 adjusted EPS of $24.65 to $24.85, up from its prior guidance of $23.90 to $24.50. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $24.43.

Sales growth for the current fiscal year is now expected to be nearly 4%, versus the company's prior guidance range of 3% to 5%, Parker-Hannifin ( PH ) said.
