07:01 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) said Monday it has been awarded a $24 million biodefense contract from the Naval Medical Research Command.

The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.

Under the agreement, Parsons will continue supporting NMRC's Biological Defense Research Directorate to facilitate biological research for rapid detection of infectious diseases critical to the Department of Defense and improving global disease surveillance for early pathogen detection and response.
