Parsons Awarded $27 Million Contract to Reduce Threat of Weapons Proliferation in Eastern Europe

10:17 AM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) said Thursday it received a proliferation prevention program task order from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction proliferation in Eastern Europe.

The task order has a ceiling value of $27 million and was awarded under the DTRA's cooperative threat reduction integrating contract III, according to the company.

Parson said the awards consists of a two-year period of performance and three one-year option periods.

Under the task order, the company will provide Eastern European partner nations with expertise, training, and resources to address current and future security threats.
