07:15 AM EST, 11/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) said Monday it was awarded a contract to modernize the US Coast Guard's Biometrics at Sea System, which is used by maritime law enforcement to collect and analyze biometric data such as fingerprints and facial recognition.
The contract has a five-year performance period, the company said, but financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the award, Parsons said it will provide personnel for strategic planning and technical support for its JavelinXL devices and Ares Gateway, key components of the Biometrics at Sea System platform.
The company will also supply and deploy JavelinXL devices, an Android-based handheld designed for multi-modal biometric capture, to Coast Guard units, the company said.
Parsons' shares were 1.2% higher in premarket trading.
