11:45 AM EDT, 05/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) said Thursday it has secured a five-year, $20 million contract from VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority to finish the final design for the Advanced Rapid Transit program in San Antonio, Texas.

The project, valued at over $400 million, receives funding from various sources including the Federal Transportation Administration New Starts Capital Improvement Grant and local funds, the company said.

The company's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trading.
