Parsons, IBM Join Forces to Deliver New US Air Traffic Control System

08:50 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) and IBM ( IBM ) said Tuesday they formed a collaboration under which they would design and deliver a new US air traffic control system for use by the Federal Aviation Administration.

The companies said Parsons would serve as prime contractor and have single point of accountability.

The collaboration seeks to respond to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy's vision for a new air traffic control system that has enhanced safety and efficiency, Parsons and IBM ( IBM ) said.

Parsons shares were 2.8% higher while IBM ( IBM ) shares were edging 0.6% higher in recent premarket activity.
