07:01 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) has been awarded the first task order under the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Cooperative Threat Reduction Integration Contract IV, or CTRIC IV, to support efforts in reducing chemical threats in Southeast Asia, Parsons said Thursday.

The task order stipulates that Parsons design and deliver chemical security training in the region, covering Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, the company said. Training will include courses, exercises and workshops in preparedness, detection and response to chemical threats, Parsons added.
