06:38 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Patriot Battery Metals ( PMETF ) on Sunday appointed Frederic Mercier-Langevin as chief development officer and chief operating officer.

In his new role, Mercier-Langevin will be responsible for developing the Shaakichiuwaanaan project, the company said. Patriot is working toward the completion of a feasibility study and environmental and social impact assessment for the Shaakichiuwaanaan project.

Mercier-Langevin has over 20 years of experience in open pit and underground mining and has held senior and executive roles at Agnico Eagle Mines and, most recently, Wesdome Gold Mines.
