06:42 AM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Patriot Battery Metals ( PMETF ) late on Sunday said the 2024 infill drill campaign at the CV5 spodumene pegmatite of the Shaakichiuwaanaan property in Quebec further supports conversion of inferred resources to indicated resources.

The 2024 drill campaign is nearly complete and the company has drilled about 127,700 meters at Shaakichiuwaanaan since January. Results for more than 65,000 meters remain to be reported pending final assays from the summer-fall program.

Results for about 10,000 meters of follow-up drilling at the CV13 spodumene pegmatite's high-grade Vega Zone also remain to be reported pending final assays.

An updated mineral resource statement is targeted for March or April 2025.

Surface exploration for 2024, including channel sampling, geological mapping and prospecting of the broader CV Lithium Trend, has been completed.

Patriot's share price gained 4.9% to $3.61 on Friday.
