06:44 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Patriot Battery Metals ( PMETF ) overnight Wednesday reported new drill results that continued strong lithium mineralization over wide intervals at the CV5 spodumene pegmatite of the Corvette property in Quebec.

Highlights of the results include 122.5 meters at 1.42% lithium oxide (Li2O) including 35.8 meters at 2.15% Li2O; and 71.4 meters at 1.57% Li2O including 14.2 meters at 3.15% Li2O.

"Coupled with the new high-grade discovery at CV13, the 2024 winter program's results continue to demonstrate the quality and scale on show at Corvette."

An updated mineral resource estimate for the Corvette project, incorporating drilling through April, is scheduled for the third quarter. The update will include both the CV5 and CV13 spodumene pegmatites.
