11:47 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PayPal's ( PYPL ) blockchain partner, Paxos, said Tuesday it has acquired Fordefi, a provider of institutional-grade custody and wallet technology.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Paxos said the deal combines its digital asset custody and compliance expertise with Fordefi's multi-party computation wallet platform and decentralized finance integrations to create a platform that enables clients to issue stablecoins, tokenize assets and build complex payment flows while adhering to high security and regulatory standards.
