07:14 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PayPal Holdings ( PYPL ) said on Thursday it is enabling US merchants to buy, hold, and sell cryptocurrency directly from their business accounts.

Additionally, PayPal ( PYPL ) enables US merchants to externally transfer cryptocurrency on the chain to third-party eligible wallets.

However, the company said the service would not be available in New York State at launch.
