10:00 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Paysafe ( PSFE ) said Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer Alex Gersh is stepping down to transition to an advisory role to the chief executive, effective Wednesday.

John Crawford has been appointed as the new CFO, Paysafe ( PSFE ) said, adding that Alex will remain with the company in the advisory role for an unspecified period but at least through the end of 2024.

Crawford was previously executive vice president of strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital at Fidelity National Information Services, Paysafe ( PSFE ) said.

Paysafe ( PSFE ) shares were down more than 2% in recent Tuesday trading.
