PBF Energy Shares Fall After Q2 Swings to Adjusted Loss, Lower Revenue

10:02 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PBF Energy ( PBF ) shares fell 2.6% in recent Thursday trading after the oil refinery company swung to an adjusted loss and lower revenue in Q2.

The company reported earlier its Q2 swung to an adjusted loss of $0.54 per diluted share from adjusted earnings of $2.29 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.15 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $8.74 billion, compared with $9.16 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $8.69 billion.

The company also maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.25 per Class A share, payable Aug. 29 to shareholders of record on Aug. 15.
