03:24 PM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Corpay's ( CPAY ) Comdata Merchant Solutions unit was acquired by PDI Technologies for an undisclosed amount, according to a statement from PDI Technologies Monday.

The acquisition includes point of sale hardware and software needed to handle payments at truck stops and other fuel stations, the company said.

Comdata will keep running its payment network for truck stops, including fuel cards for trucking companies and the payment systems at truck stop stores, as these are not part of the acquisition, it added.

PDI Technologies will be allowed to use Comdata's payment services within its own point of sale systems as a part of the deal, according to the statement.
