05:26 PM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Pebblebrook Hotel Trust ( PEB ) said Monday several of its resorts were impacted by Hurricane Helene, but repair costs after insurance payments are expected to be minor.

LaPlaya Beach Resort & Club in Naples, Florida, was affected by the hurricane, and is still undergoing a damage assessment, the company said.

Property and flood insurance are expected to reduce the financial impact of the damage at LaPlaya, with no revenue loss as the storm occurred during off-season, it added.

Jekyll Island Club Resort in Georgia experienced minor damage and a brief power outage, but remained open and is now operating normally, Pebblebrook Hotel Trust ( PEB ) said.

Other Pebblebrook resorts in southern Florida were affected, but remain fully operational, with no significant repair costs anticipated, according to the company.

The company's shares were down nearly 2.3% at market close.
