Pembina Pipeline Says Canadian Regulators Approve Its Alliance Pipeline Settlement

05:13 PM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pembina Pipeline ( PBA ) said Tuesday the Canada Energy Regulator approved a negotiated settlement with shippers on the company's Alliance natural-gas pipeline system.

"We are pleased that the CER has approved the Settlement between Alliance and the Shipper Committee, resulting in a just and reasonable tolling structure for the next ten years," said Chief Executive Officer Scott Burrows. "The approval allows Pembina to continue delivering reliable service while maximizing the value of a "critical and highly differentiated North American energy infrastructure asset."

The Alliance Pipeline ships about 1.7-billion cubic feet per day of liquids-rich natural gas along a 3,850-kilometer system from western Alberta to the United States

Shares of Pembina Pipeline ( PBA ) closed up $0.93 to $54.13 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
