12:51 PM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PENN Entertainment ( PENN ) said Monday its PENN Sports Interactive unit has entered into a multi-year partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment securing market access for PENN's ESPN BET platform in Washington DC, subject to regulatory approvals.

Under the collaboration, ESPN BET will serve as the official sports betting partner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment and its teams, including the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Washington Mystics, PENN said.

Financial terms of the partnership weren't disclosed.

Shares of PENN were up more than 3% in recent trading.
