Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a per-share loss of $0.22.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.64 billion, up from $1.62 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.66 billion.

PENN shares were 3% higher in early trading.
