Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.32.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $7.70 billion, up from $7.47 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $7.57 billion.

The company said its board has raised its quarterly dividend by 11% to $1.07 per share, payable Sept. 4 to shareholders as of Aug. 15.
