Perseus Mining Appoints Amanda Weir as COO

06:43 AM EDT, 08/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Perseus Mining ( PMNXF ) late on Thursday said it has appointed Amanda Weir as chief operating officer, effective Aug. 19.

Weir previously worked at Newcrest as chief transformation officer and senior vice president of Canadian operations before it was acquired by Newmont last year.

"Amanda brings a wealth of operational and technical expertise and deep knowledge of leading teams through strategic transformation in complex environments," said Perseus Chairman and CEO Jeff Quartermaine.
