06:12 AM EDT, 09/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Perseus Mining ( PMNXF ) late on Thursday said it has increased its stake in Predictive Discovery, an Australia-listed company focused on identifying and developing gold deposits, to 19.9%.

To help fund the investment, Perseus used proceeds raised from the unwinding of a cash settled equity swap position in Predictive.

Perseus said it doesn't intend to acquire control of Predictive Discovery or make a takeover offer for the company.
