12:06 PM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), or Petrobras, board approved the early termination of Chief Executive Jean Paul Prates, effective immediately, and announced the appointment by board chairman of Clarice Coppetti as interim CEO, according to a filing.

Prates also resigned as member of the Petrobras board.

Additionally, the board removed Sergio Caetano Leite as chief financial officer.
