02:52 PM EDT, 04/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Petrobras (PBR) said Monday it will work with a Brazilian trade group to identify new business opportunities in the natural gas and energy sector.

The Brazilian state-owned petroleum company's so-called protocol of intent with the Brazilian Chemical Industry Association, or ABIQUIM, is valid for one year, with the possibility of an extension.

ABIQUIM is a trade group of chemical companies, according to a regulatory filing.
