11:30 AM EST, 11/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), also known as Petrobras, said Wednesday that it signed a heads of agreement with the Danish company European Energy for their planned partnership over an e-methanol plant in Brazil.

The company said e-methanol a low-carbon solution and the project is part of its strategic plan to reduce emissions and boost the supply of more sustainable products.

No financial details were disclosed.
