Pfizer Sued by Kansas Over Covid-19 Vaccine
Jun 18, 2024 4:43 AM

07:17 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Pfizer ( PFE ) is facing a lawsuit filed by the state government of Kansas for allegedly misleading the public about the safety and efficacy of its Covid-19 vaccine.

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach claimed in a suit filed Monday that Pfizer ( PFE ) "concealed critical safety information" and made misrepresentations about the vaccine in violation of state consumer protection regulations.

The suit, filed in a Kansas state district court, claims unspecified monetary damages.

Pfizer ( PFE ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment. It dismissed a similar lawsuit filed by Texas as meritless, Reuters reported.
