05:51 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PG&E ( PCG ) said late Monday it had restored power to nearly all of its customers in northern California affected by recent outages due to heightened wildfire risks from high winds.
Just over 200 customers are currently without power in Shasta county, which is expected to be restored by Tuesday noon after daylight assessments, the company said in a notice Monday evening.
It added that its meteorology team is closely monitoring new windy conditions that could lead to overnight power shutoffs for about 500 customers in Napa and Butte counties.
Earlier on Monday, PG&E ( PCG ) had cut power to over 9,000 customers as a precaution.
