April 1 (Reuters) - Independent U.S. oil refiner
Phillips 66 said on Monday it is in the final stages of
converting an oil refinery in California into a renewable fuel
plant with a capacity of 50,000 barrels per day (bpd) by the end
of the second quarter of 2024.
The Rodeo Renewed Project facility now processes only
renewable feedstocks, producing about 30,000 bpd of renewable
diesel, and is expected to start production of sustainable
aviation fuel in the second quarter, the refiner added.
