10:30 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Phreesia ( PHR ) said Tuesday it has renewed its contract with the CMS Innovation Center for the use of the Patient Activation Measure, or PAM through 2029.

The PAM performance measure, which assesses patients' healthcare management skills, is one of the first patient-reported outcome performance measures in a CMS alternative payment model, Phreesia ( PHR ) said.

Under the new contract, Phreesia ( PHR ) will offer access to PAM, along with training, analysis, and other support for the Kidney Care Choices Model, which aims to enhance care for Medicare beneficiaries with chronic kidney disease.

CMS Innovation Center may also expand PAM to other models, including those targeting different diseases, care settings, or care episodes, the company said.
